Most high school student-athletes get a little tunnel vision as they are considering where to play college sports. They tend to focus on all the well known, NCAA Division I colleges that they see on tv. A lot of them are not aware that the biggest NCAA Division is actually Division III. Over 200,000 student-athletes play at the D3 level, so learning more about the opportunities in D3 can help student-athletes weight the benefits and the drawbacks as they develop their own college recruiting campaigns and build their final college application lists.
